ENVIRONMENTAL INTERSHIP OPPORTUNITY: Hanson Aggregates NY produces ready-mix concrete (RMC), Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) and construction aggregates. We currently have an internship opportunity for a detail-oriented, self -motivated student in our Syracuse, NY Office.
This opportunity is perfect for a student interested in gaining experience and knowledge in the environmental aspects of the construction materials business. What you'll get to do:
Perform environmental audits to ensure regulatory and corporate compliance
Perform on-site storm water permit compliance evaluations of RMC, HMA and mining operations
Prepare regulatory environmental permit applications
Prepare audit findings reports for distribution to operations management
Assist the environmental managers with routine aspects and continuous improvement initiatives
Any other duties as assigned
Who we are looking for:
Currently enrolled in an accredited university/college majoring in an environmental program
Requires proficient knowledge of applicable tools and technologies to be used on the job including Word, Excel.
High level written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills
Work safely and follow all Federal and State laws and regulations as well as company and site specific policies

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
